What is RFID

RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification, a technology that enables non-contact automatic identification of targets and data retrieval via radio waves. The system consists of an electronic tag, a reader, and an antenna, allowing information to be read without requiring line-of-sight alignment.

core principle

• Electronic Tag: Attached to an object, it contains a chip and an antenna, storing a unique identifier and related information.

• Reader: Emit RF signals to activate the tag and receive the data it returns.

• Operation mode: The reader generates an electromagnetic field, which activates the tag upon sensing the energy. Data is transmitted back to the reader via backscatter modulation, enabling rapid identification.

Technical Features

• Non-contact recognition: Can read within a range of several centimeters to several meters, penetrating non-metallic materials such as paper and plastic.

• Batch reading: Supports simultaneous recognition of multiple tags, far more efficient than barcodes.

• Reusable: Data can be encrypted, modified, and updated, suitable for dynamic management scenarios.

• High durability: Resistant to high temperatures, moisture, and oil stains, suitable for harsh industrial environments.
